THE MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE – A New project

A new collaboration for Italy and Europe

The Museum of the Bible opened in November 2017 in the heart of Washington DC, within view of the United States Capitol. With its 8 floors and over 40 thousand square meters of surface, it is the largest Bible museum in the world ranks with many great museums in the world.

The purpose of this museum is to invite all people to engage with the transformative power of the Bible. The museum welcomes everyone to explore the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible on our world.

In recent weeks, Dr. Jon Sharpe, Chief Relations Officer at Museum of the Bible asked Allesandro to serve the work of Museum of the Bible in Italy and Europe. He will be building friendships throughout the region for the museum.

“Museum of the Bible” had already been the subject by Alessandr Lovino of an appreciated documentary broadcast as a national premiere on TV2000 in May 2020 entitled “Discovering the Book of Books”.

It was then dubbed and translated into Arabic and broadcast on the satellite channel Noursat TV.

Sharpe commented that,“We want to take advantage of this collaboration with Alessandro Iovino because we have appreciated his work over the years to spread the mission of our museum. We are sure that Italy and Europe will increasingly become fundamental partners to carry out our mission”.

Alessandro Iovino: “I am honored by this relationship with Museum of the Bible, in line with the commitment I have made in my studies and activities for the history of Christianity and for the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is a book of great value not only historical and cultural but also spiritual. My commitment will be to make this incredible museum known on our continent .The Bible is a historical heritage for all of humanity. Suffice it to say that the greatest works of art scattered throughout our continent, of all kinds, are inspired by the stories of the Bible. We must rediscover its value and importance in the past but also how it can impact the future.”
