The contrast to the current health and economic crisis, dictated by the Coronavirus emergency, cannot experience any pause.
There is a strong and fruitful solidarity and collaboration between the Chinese Evangelical Christian Church and the international ministry Italy For Christ of Dr. Gaetano Sottile.
“The Italy For Christ International ministry – states the lawyer Davide Lepore, IFC Legal advisor – was born in America in the 80s thanks to the vision and missionary heart of Gaetano Sottile. For over 30 years it has been carrying out social and humanitarian projects with hundreds of thousands of people supported all over the world, particularly in Italy. Even during the Coronavirus emergency, Dr. Sottile is at the forefront of helping the Italian population. “
The Evangelical Chinese Church “Pompeii”, with Italy For Christ and the indispensable help of Giovanni Tagliaferri’s Lilliput Cooperative, made an important donation of medical material on Wednesday 29 April 2020 to the Cotugno Hospital of Naples consisting of 5,000 Nursery Mask, 400 Masks with visors, 100 suits for healthcare personnel.
The General Director of Cotugno Hospital, Dr. Maurizio Di Mauro, thanked the Chinese Church, Italy For Christ and Lilliput as follows: “I sincerely thank these charitable partners that have shown enormous solidarity. The donated medical material is gold for the Colli Hospital staff and for the patients themselves. Thank you for your closeness in this difficult emergency “
Thus continues the operation of support and solidarity put in place by Italy For Christ: a foundation born in the United States over 30 years ago from the vision of Gaetano Sottile and now become a reference point in Italy with thousands of volunteers and managers operating throughout the Italian national territory.
